We are dedicated to bringing local musical events to you to listen and enjoy! This site is still new so it will still take a while to get it up and moving, but rest assured, it will be an interactive, rewarding site for everyone's use!

There is so much happening out there in our own backyard that sometimes it's difficult to find them as they happen. That's where we come in. We will endeavor to bring as music information about happenings with local orchestras (community or professional) as well as other artistic ventures in the West Coast of Florida!

2007 - 2008 Music Year!

JEROME BUTLER!

is currently working on a joint project with world renown composer Paul Ramsier to bring better assessability to his works by transcribing a majority of his solo pieces for Double Basses into orchestral tuning and producing a recording to reflect this advantageous angle.

In January of 2008, the 20th anniversary of the Bachanalia Festival Orchestra brought Jerome to New York City to perform with the orchestra at the Kaffman Center, Lincoln Center for a celebration of music old and new!

THE Community Orchestra of Manatee and Sarasota Counties!

The POPS began as an outreach program, with rehearsal space provided by the local Salvation Army, and has always sought to make good music and share it with others. Our Orchestra continues as a diverse and talented group of performers ranging in age from 17 to 96 delighting audiences young and old in Southwest Florida!
