The Sarasota POPS Orchestra has been working hard to create inspiring music and bring it to the residents of Manatee and Sarasota Counties for three decades! Thirty years ago a small group of musicians with a common interest - known as the Sarasota Community Orchestra - joined forces. This small group has progressively evolved into

THE Community Orchestra of Manatee and Sarasota Counties!

The POPS began as an outreach program, with rehearsal space provided by the local Salvation Army, and has always sought to make good music and share it with others. Our Orchestra continues as a diverse and talented group of performers ranging in age from 17 to 96 delighting audiences young and old in Southwest Florida!
